Victoria Saxons had a hiccup losing to Winscombe in the Weston & District Over 60’s League earning just 3 points with a drawn rink and 1 winning rink of Pete Lunn, Tony Uccellini and skip Mike Stocker. Victoria Vikings currently in second position in the table had another win against very strong opposition. Trailing to Portishead after 12 ends, the Vikings came back and won mainly thanks to the emphatic wins by the triples skipped by Alan Shattock and Tom Farmer. Club Vice Captain Cliff Chudley has high hopes of the Vikings continuing their excellent form and being in contention for the title at the end of the season.
