In the Top Club Competition away to a very strong Bristol team, Tony Bray won the 4 wood singles,John Newman and Mike Cooper won the Pairs and Mike Stocker skipped his rink to victory to seal a 3-2 win and a home match against Yatton “A” in the next round.

Success was achieved away at Congresbury with Victoria winning 3-1 in the North Somerset 4 Dimension. Mike Stocker and Mike Cooper again skipped their rink and Pairs to victory and Colin Gazzard recovered from 16-20 down to win 21-20, an excellent comeback to snatch victory.
